NewsJALSA Examines Reproductive RightsJanuary 10, 2003 BROOKLINE ‑ "The Assault on Reproductive Freedom: 30 Years After Roe V. Wade," a meeting and call to action, will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12 at Temple Ohabei Shalom, 1187 Beacon St. The Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action and the Greater Boston Section of the National Council of Jewish Women sponsor the event, which begs the question, "The choice is yours, but for how much longer?" Guest speaker Linda Slucker, a national board member of the National, Council of Jewish Women, will describe NCJW's national effort to protect and save Roe v. Wade from ultra‑conservative federal court nominees. Speaker Susan Yanow, executive director of the Abortion Access Project, will discuss current Mass. legislation affecting reproductive choice.
