BROOKLINE ‑ The Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action (JALSA) is organizing a series of events for young social activists in their 20s, 30s and 40s.

From 5‑7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, a presentation entitled "A Post Election Analysis: What Happened and Why We Should Care" will be delivered by Michael Goldman at Temple Ohabei Shalom, 1187 Beacon St.

On Election Day, people in our state and across the country went to vote. How will the election results affect us in Massachusetts? What will elected officials do in the areas of public education, civil rights, health care, job creation, housing, women's rights, and the environment?

Goldman is president of Goldman Associates, a communications consulting firm that specializes in providing public relations, government liaison, and campaign consulting services to both private sector and political clients. He has served as a political commentator and analyst on radio and TV stations throughout the country. He has received three "Best of Boston" awards from Boston Magazine and was included on its list of "100 Most Powerful People" in the state.

The event will be held downstairs in Lissner Hall.
